Melinco’s PVC Wood-Plastic (WPC) Outdoor Collection is a new generation of environmentally friendly building material made from high-density PVC, wood flour, and carefully selected eco-friendly additives. The signature ASA co-extruded outer layer delivers significantly superior weather resistance and longevity compared to standard PE/PP wood-plastic boards — while maintaining the natural aesthetic of real timber.
Why ASA Co-Extrusion Makes the Difference
Standard wood-plastic boards use PE or PP as the polymer base. These materials are prone to UV-induced aging, color fading, and surface cracking over time. Melinco’s third-generation formula replaces this outer layer with ASA — a high-performance polymer with proven outdoor durability.

Although ASA co-extruded boards are approximately 20–30% higher in upfront cost than standard wood-plastic, the combination of lower maintenance, longer lifespan, and lower logistics costs delivers superior total cost of ownership.

Installation
Melinco’s snap-lock system allows installation to be completed by one person. Key installation notes:
- Lay keel framework first; main keel spacing not to exceed 1m
- Surface keel spacing not to exceed 30cm
- Leave a minimum 3mm gap between board ends for thermal expansion
- Use 3mm spacers between boards for consistent joint gaps
- Circular snap installation leaves no nail holes on the finished surface
